Description
Homogeneous and stress-free culture conditions
The HiPerGO perfusion lid’s revolutionary design ensures homogeneous culture conditions, free from gradients and shear stress, delicately nurturing cells. This innovative upgrade to traditional culture dishes expands experimental possibilities and eliminates the time-consuming tasks of assembling, sterilizing, and inoculating complex perfusion chambers.
Advantages of perfusion culture over conventional batch culture
Conventional batch culture is economical and easy to use, but cells suffer from static conditions, with declining metabolites and oxygen, and accumulating waste products. In contrast, cells exhibit higher functionality in vitro under constant flow conditions. Perfusion culture systems create in vivo-like conditions, but their application was previously limited to small formats and required high setup effort.
HiPerGo, with transparent polystyrene walls, offers excellent visibility and optical properties. The thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) sealing ensures a secure seal. Non-pyrogenic and sterile (ISO 11137-1/2/3: SAL 10), it guarantees a contamination-free environment for sensitive cell cultures.
Equipped with four Luer Lock connectors for easy connections, HiPerGo has a medium volume capacity of 7.7 ml and an efficient throughput time of about 26 minutes, making it a practical and essential tool for any cell culture laboratory.
